There are two ways to navigate the file system

1. Terminal: Use commands
   1. cd <directory name> - to change directory
   2. ls - to list directories
   3. md <directory name> - to create directory
2. Nautilus File Browser using the menu
   1. Places - Home folder
3. Type nautilus from the terminal
