The best way or fastest way to get a good answer is to elaborate the question as much as possible so that others can understand it. If possible add a video to the question that explains the problem.

You may want to Close a question when you had enough answers and don't want to accept any more new answers.

1. Login to your account
2. Click on the question you want to close
3. In the Question page, under the question you will see a link "Close Question"
4. Clicking on the link will close it and won't accept any more answers

In case if you want to open/re-open again

1. Follow the same above steps
2. Now you will see a link "Open Question" below the question
3. Clicking on that link will open the question and will start accepting answers again

1. Login to your account
2. Goto the Question
3. Scroll to the Answer you want to select as best
4. You will see a link "Select as best answer"
5. Clicking on that link will mark that answer as the best (You can also unselect a answers previous marked as best)

Note: All users can vote and promote a answer. Only the question asker can mark a answer as best

Yes, absolutely. All you need is a OpenId. For example a Yahoo or Gmail user account or any other OpenId account.Simply click on Login using OpenID link on the home page and you will see Google or Yahoo icon, click on it and hit Login. You will be taken to Yahoo / Google page for logging in. Once you login to your Yahoo / Google login page, you will be redirected to our site and automatically registered with us. Therefore you no need to register or remember a new password for using this site. You can just use your regular Yahoo / Google or any Open ID account and still enjoy the site for posting questions, answers, comments, etc..

Absolutely. This is where the display name is very useful.
After you login using your OpenId please do the following:

• Click on the My Account link
• Click on the Edit tab
• Click on the About link below the tab
• Enter your desired name in the Display name textfield
• Click on the Save button

Now wherever your userid appears it will be replaced with your display name.

Due to performance reasons all content is cached on the site. It might take a while for the new content to appear online (please be patient).

There are two ways you can add videos to question or answer.
 
1: When you create a question or submit an answer, the question/answer form has a field called "Video" where you just type in the url of the video ( for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjecYugTbIQ ). Right now we support only you tube video and going forward we'll be supporting videos from more online services.
 
2: Another way of adding a video to a question or answer is, within the content area of a question/answer just type (for example ) and click save, your video will be automatically added to the content.
 
The reason we support videos is, for a given question/answer sometimes a video can explain much better than the text itself.

Please goto forgot password page and enter your username or email address and click on "Email new password" button. A new password will be emailed to you.
 
NOTE: If you are using OpenID we don't store your password hence there is no need for forgot password. In case if you forget you need to goto your OpenID provider and do a forgot password on their site.
