Where can i find installation progress

I have accidently Xd out of the installation window. I tried to reinstal but it said the other needed to be uninstalled. It was no where near done in installation. Where can I find the progress?

I would boot with Live CD and use the gPartEd (partition editor in ubuntu) to delete the partition where you installed before and recreate that partition.

Warning: You must have knowledge about partitions and delete the right partition, else you might loose data (if delete the wrong partition).
