I'm using google chrome for a while now on my windows machine and kinda start to like it. It is very lightweight, fast and easy to use. Recently i installed ubuntu on one of my laptop. When i go to download from google chrome download page all i see is a learn more button than a download button. I really need this and would appreciate if someone point in right direction.

  • Answer

Chrome for linux is not released yet however there is a development build available at http://dev.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel
A 32 bit build is available here
A 64 bit build is available here
Be aware that these are unstable development builds and not released yet.
Also fyi the following features are not available

    • no plugin support
    • no printing
    • no complex text or tab dragging
    • no gears

Other than that i find it pretty stable atleast no crashes as far i know.
