My work uses Cisco VPN for remote acess to office machines. I don't find a cisco vpn client for ubuntu. Is there a client / software that i can use to connect to my work's cisco vpn and use remote desktop?
This software must also include a feature to import my cisco vpn profile.

To use Cisco VPN from ubuntu linux you need vpnc and kvpnc
vpnc is Cisco compatible VPN client
kvpnc is vpn clients frontend for KDE

You can install them as follows:-
sudo apt-get install vpnc
sudo apt-get install kvpnc

After the install go to Applications->Internet and click on the KVpnc shortcut
KVpnc vpn application will be launched
Click on the Profile menu and choose Import Cisco pcf file and choose the pcf file
Now click on the Connect button in the right and enjoy
Use Terminal Server Client to remote or rdp to a windows box. It is pretty fast.
