How to install firefox 3.5 on ubuntu?

Firefox 3.5 browser just got released and i tried
sudo apt-get install firefox
and also
sudo apt-get install firefox-3.5
but no luck. Still i see only firefox 3.0 browser installed on my machine.
Please help

Here is the simple way to use the new firefox 3.5 on ubuntu

Goto http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/upgrade.html
Click on the Free Download button
It will download the file firefox-3.5.tar.bz2 to your machine
Extract this using a archive manager to a folder of your choice
Goto the extracted folder and double click on the firefox shell script in the extracted folder
You are now running firefox 3.5

Answer

Add the following lines to /etc/apt/sources.list (skip this if these lines are already there)

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main

and now run the following apt-get command

sudo apt-key adv –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com –recv-keys 247510BE
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install firefox-3.5
this will install firefox 3.5 in your ubuntu machine. enjoy and have fun!
