After upgrading to ubuntu 9.10, whenever i use chrome and any site that has a dropdown or combo box in it, it appears as a blank white list. None of the items shows up or selectable. We have to use keyboard to select an item. This is annoying. Any fix?

Upgrade to the latest chrome browser. Build 4.0.249.4 already fixes this problem.
 
Update the system using System - Administration - Update Manager. This will download and install the latest build available for google chrome browser.
