How to change default keyring password in ubuntu?

Looks like the password i gave while installing ubuntu desktop became the default keyring password. Later i change the system password using passwd command but that didnt change default keyring password. It is still using the old password i entered while installing ubuntu. How to change the default keyring password in ubuntu?

this is all fine, provided you HAVE the original password, which is not the case for me.
Is there a possibility to get the original password？

Follow these steps to change your default keyring password in ubuntu

From the main menu, Open Accessories - Passwords and Encryption Keys or from Applications menu, Open Applications - Accessories - Passwords and Encryption Keys

Under the Passwords Tab, choose the item Passwords: login and Right click and choose the menu item Change Password

Now enter the old password followed by 2 times the new password. This will change your default key ring password. Enjoy!!

That's all fine, if you know the original password, which is not the case for me ...
Is there a possibility to get tis pw from somewhere?
I am desperate. I newly installed ubuntu 11.04 and can't get to the internet ...

In your terminal ;
rm -rf ~/.gnome2/keyrings/
and try something that needs keyring password,it will ask new keyring password :)
