  • Just curious where (which country) are you downloading from? And what is your Internet speed? DSL, BroadBand, Dialup??

Hope you have firefox browser installed. There is a very good download accerlator plugin for firefox called DownloadThemAll.

Install the plugin in firefox and right click on the ubuntu 9.10 download link and choose Save link with DownloadThemAll.

This will download Ubuntu 9.10 using the DownloadThemAll plugin and it can resume downloads incase connection drops.

Also another good option for slower connections is to get the Ubuntu CD. You can Request a Free Ubuntu CD
