After ubuntu 10.04 lucid lynx upgrade, minimize, maximize and close buttons on top of the windows are appearing on the left side of the window. It is annoying and hard to use. How to move these buttons to the right?

Still not sure why they made this move, but it is really easy to fix it.

Launch a terminal, type gconf-editor (this will launch Configuration editor)

Goto, apps - metacity - general, under button_layout ( /apps/metacity/general/button_layout),

double click and change to menu:minimize, maximize, close

Now it should appear as expected.
