Sorry for my english: I want to make a link to the evolution's calendar  from any place, desktop or gnome panel. I want to click and open the calendar, not the inbox and then another click to calendar.

Evolution by default is installed in /usr/bin/Evolution

So all you have to do is create a application launcher for Evolution (or you can use Indicator applet)

To create application launcher

  • Right click on desktop
  • Choose Create Launcher
  • Enter any name you want in Name field
  • Enter /usr/bin/evolution in command
  • Click OK

Now you should see a Launcher icon for evolution in your desktop. Double click to launch it.

Once evolution is launched there a convenient buttons in the bottom of Evolution window for mail, calendar, etc...
