I turned my computer on and it comes up with ways to boot and I clicked Ubuntu with linux 2.6.38-13-generic. There was a recovery mode too. Once I clicked its writing come up:

I put U on my laptop last fall and have not used it for the last 4 months. When I went to start up it is now asking for a startup password. I do not remember putting one in when I installed the program. How do I get around it?

I recently installed Ubuntu 10.10 and later upgraded to 11.04, and i find myself at times where, after i log into my user account all i see is my wallpaper and notin other than that and i am unable do anytihing other than admire my wallpaper, Kindly help

I loaded Ubuntu through WUBI but windows still boots first

I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04 and now my computer won't start. At first it did but after the last restart it did not boot. It does not show any boot menus or anything. How do I go about booting it from a CD? What do I do afterwards? Thank you very much.

Ok. Bare with me a second. Here's my partition scheme;
(200GB)/dev/sda1 /boot 500M/dev/sda2 LVM 100G
/dev/sda5 swap 4G
Just downloaded moblin 2.1 image file and thinking of installing it in my ACER aspire one netbook.
Since it is .img file i don't know how to burn or flash it into as a bootable USB flash drive so that i can boot my netbook with USB and install moblin. Please help
