Recently upgraded my desktop machine from ubuntu 9.04 jaunty to ubuntu 9.10 karmic koala. Everything went great and upgrade went smooth. But one interesting thing i noted is i can't play any flash videos anymore. When i visit any sites that has flash videos, i am able to see the player loaded. But unfortunately when i click on play, pause or any buttons on the flash players does nothing. Totally frustrated since most of the sites use flash plugin to play videos. Anybody came across this problem? Please help how to fix this?

Installed the latest google chrome browser on my ubuntu 9.04 jaunty and still not able to view any flash videos.
For example can't watch any videos on youtube.com or any site that has flash players on it.
I thought google chrome browser for ubuntu linux has support for flash plugin, please help
