How to access a host shared folder from ubuntu guest OS in virtual box?

We have shared a folder from our Max OS host OS to be accessible from our Ubuntu server guest OS. I can't find the folder anywhere in the ubuntu guest os.

How to mount and access a windows shared folder from ubuntu linux?

I have a few shared folders in my windows vista machine and i want to access them from ubuntu. I tried few mount commands and couldn't figure it out. please help, how to mount my windows shared folders?
