I have VirtualBox 3.0.12 r54655 installed on my ubuntu 64bit desktop machine. When i launched the virtual box, it prompted that there is an update available and pointed me to download the .deb file virtualbox-3.1_3.1.2-56127_Ubuntu_jaunty_amd64.deb and i downloaded the same.
When i right clicked on the file and selected "Open with GDebi Package Installer", it is giving me the following error message
Error: Conflicts with the installed package 'virtualbox-3.0'

Recently upgraded my desktop machine from ubuntu 9.04 jaunty to ubuntu 9.10 karmic koala. Everything went great and upgrade went smooth. But one interesting thing i noted is i can't play any flash videos anymore. When i visit any sites that has flash videos, i am able to see the player loaded. But unfortunately when i click on play, pause or any buttons on the flash players does nothing. Totally frustrated since most of the sites use flash plugin to play videos. Anybody came across this problem? Please help how to fix this?

Recently upgraded from ubuntu 9.04 jaunty to 9.10 karmic koala. 9.10 ships with ext4 file system but i still notice that after the upgrade the partition still says as ext3. Looks like ext4 file system is more powerful and faster than ext3. Since i have already upgraded to 9.10, now how to change my partition from ext3 to ext4? Advance thanks for the help.

Please share your experience of fresh install or upgrade experience from ubuntu 9.04 jaunty or other old ubuntu versions to the latest new 9.10 karmic koala version. We are very eager to know...
It will help others waiting to upgrade or install as well as the ubuntu team to improve in the future releases, thanks.

Subversion plugin in eclipse has some issues for doing a svn cleanup of the folder. So, i thought of going to the terminal and running a svn cleanup but unfortunately that too doesn't work. I am getting the following error, looks like i need to upgrade svn client to 1.6
svn: This client is too old to work with working copy '.'. You need to get a newer Subversion client, or to downgrade this working copy.See http://subversion.tigris.org/faq.html#working-copy-format-change for details.
