I have been wanting to know if this is far fetched, very slow, impossible, or stupid...Can virtualization support come from emulation? So as to say, if I have old (circa 2006) h/w that doesn't support virtualization, could this hardware problem be overcome through some kind of emulation?

i downloaded vmware workstation installation file VMware-Workstation-Full-7.0.1-227600.x86_64.bundle from vmware.com. But i don't know to install using .bundle file. Please help...
