Hi everyone,
I have an ubuntu server and 12 pcs (some are windows 7, some vista). I have a hard drive in ubuntu (named as "X-drive" drive) and created a folder called "Projects" to be accessed by all pcs.

so i changed the settings in samba to read/write so all pc users can access this folder and have full permission to read and write. I also right clicked the "Projects" folder in that drive and changed the settings in share.

i just made a ubutu live usb for pass word recovery why is ubutu used in this way for windows and why is not windows able to perform these tasks how is dos diffrent then ubutu I just started yesterday learning all about this stuff it is very interesting and can you put more then one ubutu tool on a usb stick thanks

How Do i put Windows 7 on my computer when it is running Ubuntu. nothing has worked. and i want to go back to windows 7 for collage.

My computers run Windows 7 and one Vista, all are 64 bit. Can I install Linux 9.10 or what. Can I run both 7 and Linux?

I predominantly use Windows 7, but I like messing around in Ubuntu IF I can access my files in 7. Could someome please give a very clear (in "stupid" terms) description of how to mount my harddrive so I can access all files in both OSs? Please and thank you.
