Gwibber that comes preinstalled with ubuntu has some issues and doesn't start. I tried uninstalling and re-installing but still doesn't work.

Also not convinced with the GUI of Gwibber. 

I am looking for  simple twitter client for ubuntu/linux that has minimalist UI and can handle multiple twitter accounts.

Kinect sensor is great and can be used for whole lot of other applications besides gaming. It's from microsoft, so i assume the drivers are from them and proprietory.

Is there is any open source drivers available for xbox kinect sensor that is cross platform windows, ubuntu (linux)?

There is no shortcut icon for eclipse in ubuntu. For now i'm just choosing whatever icon is available. Eclipse is the IDE of choice for development. It would be great if i can get a eclipse icon in png or svg format so that i use as a shortcut in the panel. thanks in advance

Where can i find a facebook linux or client application for ubuntu? 

I ran ulimit -n and it is current showing as 1024. I want to increase my file limit from 1024 to 4084. So, i tried running the following command
 
sudo ulimit -n 2048
 
but i get the following error
 
sudo: ulimit: command not found
 
How to increase the file limit from 1024 to 4084. Any help will be appreciated.
 

I recently bought magic jack but they provided software only for windows. Is there a magic jack software available for linux? Or anybody got any luck running the windows version of the magicjack software in ubuntu?

Bought a canon laser printer MF4350d recently. Tried to add the printer using System - Administration - Printing. Unfortunately it doesnt have a driver for it. Also it tried searching, but no luck. Did anybody successfully got this printer installed and configured to work with ubuntu 9.10 karmic koala?

Downloaded the cool aurora theme for ubuntu linux and inorder to use it, i need to install the aurora engine. While running ./configure on aurora engine gave me the following error...
 
configure: error: GTK+-2.10 is required to compile aurora
 
How to install GTK+-2.10, so that i can compile and install the aurora engine?
