I started developing php on a LAMP server on my Ubuntu. It worked fine and i got neat error descriptions whenever I forgot a semicolon or other such mistakes.
When I updated to Ubuntu 10.04 this functionality was lost and now all i get is http500 when there is some kind of error in my code, it is as if my webserver has entered a safe mode or something that hides error descriptions.
How do I get my error descriptions back?
